Richard Peters

is a Director of the valuation practice of Seagar & Partners Botany. He was registered in 1987, having completed a Bachelor of Business Studies and subsequent Diploma in Communication Management from Massey University.

His professional experience commenced in 1984, initially at Gordon & Kirkcaldy then the Housing Corporation in Wellington. He worked in Palmerston North at J P Morgan & Associates and in 1985 moved to Guy Stevenson & Petherbridge Limited in Manukau City and became Director of that firm in 1996. Richard joined Seagar & Partners in March 2007.

Richard lives in the rural district of Pukekawa and is well experienced in rural/residential and residential valuation work. He is the resident Director at the Pukekohe satellite office and has experience in a wide range of commercial and industrial work. He has worked extensively for Manukau and Franklin District Councils completing compensation and acquisition assessments. Latterly his focus has included going concern assessments, including hotel and motel valuations.

Richard is a current committee member of the South Auckland Valuers’ Interest Group.
