Malcolm Hardie graduated with a Diploma in Urban Valuation from Auckland University in 1964. He is a registered valuer and a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers, with more than 40 years experience in the valuation of residential, commercial and small block holdings.
Malcolm is the author of the chapter "Private Health Care Establishments" in the reference book "Urban Valuation in New Zealand" Vol 2. He is recognised as one of the foremost valuers of private health care establishments in New Zealand.
After completing his initial training with the Valuation Department, he joined a small Auckland practice and became the senior partner specialising in commercial, industrial, rental assessments and arbitrations. In September 2001 Malcolm joined Seagars where he carries out a diverse range of valuation assignments, including those in the health care and childcare areas.
